Appearance/Finishing

Ensure that FLAMEDXX OSB is dry and clean before finishing.  FLAMEDXX OSB should only be painted after the structure is enclosed to let the OSB dry within acceptable limits. Test coating systems first before final finishing to ensure desired results for practical use.

Ventilation/Moisture/Heat

Provide ventilation to OSB roof systems to levels specified by the governing building codes to ensure proper moisture levels within the OSB. Responsibility for installation according to regulations belongs to the building owner and his agent(s).

Job Site Storage

It is important to keep FLAMEDXX OSB dry. Elevate panels above the ground to protect from moisture and to allow air flow around the materials. cover the top of bundled units and store all OSB away from weather.  Cover roof sheathing as soon as possible once it is installed.
